 Tantric Ceremony.

The goal of Tantric meditation is to attract the mind to the higher centers of the brain to free the seeker from the Wheel of Karma and establish contact with the Universal Soul.

 TANTRIK SANDHYA

1. PRONAM - Wash your hands (with "Om Vishnu") and feet. Take your seat in Asana (prayer seat). Think Sahastrar to Muladhar Chakra. Salute your Guru in mind and Ista (Deities) in Muladhar.

2. ACHAMAN - Take some water in your right palm and recite these three Mantras:

OM ATMATATTWAYA SWAHA (wash hand)

OM VIDYATATTWA SWAHA (wash hand)

OM SHIBATATTWAYA SWAHA (wash hand)

MULMANTRE - (with your thumb) wash upper and lower lips. Wash your hands.

(with your forefinger) touch both nostrils

(with your thumb) touch your ears

(with your ring finger) touch your lips

(with your little finger) touch your belly

(with your four fingers except your thumb) touch your chest with all the fingers of your right hand) touch your head (with the tips of fingers of both-hands) touch joints of hands , elbows and shoulders, both right and left.

3. ASANA SUDDHI (Purification of seat) - draw under your asana first one down-headed triangle, then a circle, then one square. Put a flower in the middle.

ASANAPUJA (Worship of seat) OM HRIEEM ADHARSHAKTI KAMALASANYA NAMAH (touch seat with all fingers of both crossed-hands)

OM ASANA MANTRASYA MERUPRISTHA RISHI SULATAM CHHANDS KOORMODEBATA ASANOPABESHANE BINIYOGH.

OM PRITTI TWAYA DHRITALOKA DEVI TWAM BIN SHUNA DHRITA TWANCHA DHARAYA MAM NITYAM PABITRAM KURUCHA ASANAM (pronam)

4. GURU ADI PRANAM (Salute to Guru) - with folded hands, thing left side and say aloud:

OM GURUBHYA NAMAH.

OM PARAMGURUBHYA NAMAH.

OM PARAPARA GURUBHYA NAMAH.

OM PARAMESTRI GURUBHAYA NAMAH.

OM GANESHAYA NAMAH (on your right side)

OM BRAHMANE NAMAH (above) OM ANANTAYA NAMAH (below) OM KSHETRAPALAYE NAMAH.

OM YOGINIBHYA NAMAH.

OM DIKPALEBHYA NAMAHA

OM KRING SRIMAT DAKSHINE KALIKAOI NAMAH (front)

OM PARAMATMAYANE NAMAH (everywhere)

5. JALASUDHI Purification of water. Right middle finger in water, left hand on right arm

OM GANGA CHA YAMUNE CHAIB GODABARI SARASWATI NARMADE SINDHUKABERI JALE, YASMIN SANNIDHIM KURU, THAMES ST. LAWRENCE, HUDSON, MISSISSIPPI, AMAZON, NILE, RHONE, RHINE, VOLGA, TIGRIS EUPHRASTES, YANTZE, FRAZIER, CONGO

(show Dhenu /cow/ mudra, with "Bam" mantra mentally, then matsyamudra(fish)

say "Om" IOX). Put a flower in water. OR JALAYA NAMAHA.

6. MARYJAN (washing) (with thumb - or spoon - and ring finger sprinkle water 3X on the ground and 7X on your head with mulmantra "Om Kring" mentally)

7. PRANAYAM (Mulmantra)- inhale air 4 seconds; keep in lungs 16 seconds, thinking

Muladhar to Sahasrar, Sahasrar to Muladhar and breathe out 8 seconds. 3X.

8. AGHAMARSAN - Take water in left palm, cover with right palm: HAM YAM BAM LAM RAM - 3X

Sprinkle water 7X on head with thumb and ring finger of right hand, water comes through fingers of left hand. Take rest on water in right hand, pour through right nostril and let out through left nostril with "Phat" mantra. Wash your hands.

9. TARPAN - (To Gods, forefathers, etc.) 3X while putting water on Shiva. Put

the water after the mantra.

10. SURYARGHYA (Devotion to Sun God)

Take water in spoon, place a red flower in hold with both hands in offering:

OM HRIM HAM SAH MARTTANDA BHAIRABAYA PRAKASHA SHAKTI SAHITAYA

AESHA ARGHAH SRI SURYAYA SWAHA .(flower and water on Shiva)

11. DEBATA ARGHA (Devotion to Deities) usually omitted

OM UDYADADITYA MENDALMADHYABARTINYAI NITYA

CHAITANYODIKAAYAI DAMARGHYAM SRIMAT DAKHINI

KALIKA DEBATAYAI SWAHA (3X, with Vedic or Tantric Gayatri)

12. ANGANYASA (worship of different parts of body) use all fingers of right hand, touch:

OM KRIM SHIRASE SWAHA (head)

OM KRIM SIKAYAI BASHAT (tail of hair)

OM KRAIM KABACHAYA HUM (cross-shoulders)

OM KRAUM NATRATRAYA BHAUSHAT. (3 eyes)

OM KRAH ASTRAYA PHAT ((weapon -circle palms 3X,

gently touch left palm with first three fingers of right hand.)

13. KARANYASA (worship of palms and fingers)

OM KRAUM ANGUSTABHYAM NAMAHA (thumb)

OM KRIM TARJJANIBHYAM SWAHA (forefingers)

OM KRUM MADHYAMABHYAM BASHAT (middle fingers)

OM KRAIM ANAMIKABHYAM HUM (Ring fingers)

OM KRAAUM KANISTHABHYAM BAUSHAT (little fingers)

OM KRAH ASTRAYA PHAT (weapon)

There are four auspicious times for meditation
