There is a basic cumulative inaccuracy in Western Astrology such that western astrology now deals with generalities. Since Ptolemy, Western Astrology has not allowed for the Procession of the Equinox and as a result an inaccuracy of 1 degree every 72 year each year x 2000 years since Ptolemy has resulted in an inaccuracy of nearly a whole Sign. Thus, if you think you are a “Leo “in Western Astrology you may well be a “Cancer”.
As implied above, the two Zodiacs diverged from each other since Ptolomy 2000 years ago
Within Vedic astrology, the difference between the Zodiacs is called the Ayanamsha, which means “falling back portion”. Vedic astrologers reckon the beginning of the Sidereal Zodiac based upon specific star positions, with the most commonly used Ayanamsha (called the Lahiri or Chitrapaksha Ayanamsha) based upon the position of the star Spica as marker of the beginning of the Sidereal sign Libra.
I have found Indian Astrology is so accurate
First you work out how the planets work in your chart – your Karma.
Then there is a time line when that Karma may manifest.
